EXTRACT.

Caught the 10:05 showing of Extract tonight. I studied all day I figured my brain needed an intermission. There was probably a total of 10 people in the entire theatre watching this movie. And of those 10 people I felt my brother and I were the only ones showing our teeth. Even a stark an unfilled theatre of older folk isn't gonna keep me from laughing out loud. BUT...I only LOL'd a few times. It was a funny movie, but also a little offbeat for my taste. I wasn't expecting it to pan out the way it did; not that it was awful or atrocious...it was just contradistinct from THE ULTIMATE comedies, like ANCHORMAN, or OLD SCHOOL. There was just something this movie was lacking. I can't put a finger on it. Anyways, don't RUSH TO THE THEATRE to see it, but when it comes out on DVD, make it a rental. cheers.
