Today was an extremely productive day. I went to the beach. That alone is productive enough. On the way home I had an everything bagel with salmon...for the first time ever...it is D-LISH. I washed my car. I did all my laundry, and some of my brothers too. I cleaned the entire kitchen, both bathrooms, and hooked up Madonna with a clean litter box. Madonna's my cat. I then went to mommas house for some good ol' filipino food. Oh I forgot about lunch...my dad grows those little baby tomatoes right outside my room...all you need to do is add a little salt...the danks.

I bought this little book for a fund raiser months ago, but never actually took the time to read it until today. It's full of these little pointers, how to be happy in life kinda deal. These are just a few. There's actually over a thousand. Something to read when you're bored.

"A few suggestions, observations, and reminders on how to live a happy and rewarding life."

Accept a breath mint if someone offers you one.
Believe in love at first sight.
Never laugh at anyone's dreams.
Overpay good baby sitters.
When you feel terrific notify your face.
Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
Dont' confuse comfort with happiness.
Check for toilet paper before sitting down. (haha)
Make duplicates of all important keys.

It's funny because today after reading some of it, a woman offered me some gum.  And of course...I accepted.

I worked 8 hours today. I work 8 hours every Sunday. It's starting to get old. Aren't you supposed to take it easy on Sunday? Seems like everyone does except me. One of my favorite bands Bloc Party made a song called "Sunday," which to me describes the best Sunday possible. Listen to it...real talk.

Heavy night, it was a heavy night
Feels like we've come back from the dead

Heavy night, it was a heavy night
I cannot remember what I said
If we get up now we can catch the afternoon
Watch the under 15's playing futbol in the park
Lets sleep in St. Leonard's on this alcoholic day

We're doing the best with what we've got
I love you in the morning, when you're still hungover

I love you in the morning, when you're still strung out

I love you in the morning...
I work hard all week and so do you

I was supposed to work a middle shift today. 10:30am-7:00pm, the best shift in the world. However, I was phoned at approximately 8:00 o'clock in the morning asking from the boss herself, if I was interested in closing. I didn't want to. But when I heard the news, I had no choice but to contribute to the miracle that took place earlier this morning. My co-worker who was scheduled to close the store, her daughter, gave birth an hour before I received the phone call. A baby girl. My co-worker became a Grandma. Nothing is more important than family. NOTHING. Read "Family Happiness" by Leo Tolstoy. It's a short story, about two kinds of love.

Tonight was fun. It was poker night at the crib and I was drunk. I still am. If you know me at all, you might ask..."What else is new?" I've been drinking a lot lately. I think it's because I can. I have no one to tell me not to. I don't live with my mother anymore. She moved out over a year ago. Had I lived with my mother, I'd be as sober as a judge. I miss her. I mean I still see her a lot, but it's different. She used to always make sure I had my shit together, ever since she left it hasn't been. I need to work on my shit. Until then...cheers.
