Early Tuesday Morning.

It has been awhile. Let me start by saying Christmas was Merry. Although my father was in a different state and my brother in a different city, I was fortunate enough to spend it with me momma. She fed me two dinners! Thats right two, and baked me cookies. I slept there and had to leave early the next morning because I had to work. But work was not a drag at all. It was good money and only 5 hours of my day. I came home that night to an empty house, with an empty stomach. Sad face. I was all by my lonesome watching the Chargers whoop the crap out of the Titans. Bored I was, so I decided to put one of my gifts to use. I started chugging. see below. The homies came over as I chugged and we did our annual Secret Santa gift exchange. I got the RED VANS I've been wanting. Stoked. We drank 40's, played poker, and ended the day merrily with carne asada fries. Since Christmas I've been in the HOLIDAY EATING MODE...and haven't been making too many wise decisions. Today I felt like cooking chinese food for some reason. I've been craving it a lot lately. It was pretty good I must say. I also watched the entire season of Eastbound and Down tonight...super funny, I love Katy Mixon.

Relief Pitcher Kenny Powers was poised to rule the Big Leagues, but two things got in the way: his fading fastball and his insufferable personality. After a spectacular career flame-out, Kenny came home to Shelby County, NC and picked up a job as a substitute gym teacher (mostly so his brother Dustin would stop threatening to kick him out). He's spent every moment since then cashing in the last of his dying fame while plotting his inevitable comeback... one beer at a time. 'Eastbound & Down' is the latest project to come out of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's comedic goldmine Gary Sanchez Productions, which also launched FunnyOrDie.com. Starring Danny McBride ('Pineapple Express'), Katy Mixon ('Four Christmases'), John Hawkes ('Deadwood') and a host of other talented comedians, 'Eastbound & Down' was created by McBride along with two friends from film school: Jody Hill and Ben Best. The hilarious new series was shot on location in North Carolina and also includes a few guest appearances by Ferrell as a local car dealer with marvelous hair.

PRODUCTION.

Today was an incredibly productive day. I would love to talk about it in detail but I am incredibly tired. I definitely need more days like today. You will very rarely see me awake at 630 in the AM. Today I took care of a lot of business yet it was somehow fun and exciting. I can't explain it.

Today was an awesome day for football. The Chargers won...and I'm still in the pool. The 6 Coronas I had caused me to take a 2 hour nap immediately after dinner, which was at 6 pm. Now I can't sleep. And now I'm hungry. And now I want 6 more Coronas hahah.

Parmigiano-Reggiano

Parmigiano-Reggiano, called parmesan in the English language, is a hard granular cheese, cooked but not pressed, named after the producing areas of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, and Bologna (all in Emilia-Romagna), and Mantova (in Lombardia), Italy. Under Italian law only cheese produced in these provinces may be labeled "Parmigiano-Reggiano," while European law classifies the name as a protected designation of origin.Parmigiano is the Italian adjective for Parma. Parmesan is the French-language name for it and also serves as the loose term for the cheese in the English language. The name Parmesan is used for cheeses imitating Parmigiano-Reggiano, with phrases such as Italian hard cheese adopted to skirt legal constraints. The closest legitimate Italian cheese to Parmigiano-Reggiano is Grana Padano.

BACK TO SCHOOL.

After a long and relaxing Thanksgiving break, I somehow managed to make it to my first class of the week. It felt like I haven't been in school for 30 days, and listening to a lecture was the last thing I wanted to do. But my marketing lecture today was actually rather interesting. The entire lecture focused on "Marketing and children," and how marketers directly target kids. It was based on 3 solid reasons. Number one being, (1)that kids have their own money to spend. You know like...allowance, and money from grandma and grandpa. Number two (2)kids are the consumers of tomorrow. This is where marketers get the kids hooked on a product while they're super young, in hopes that they become brand loyal for the rest of their lives. I'm actually guilty because I've been eating flamin' hot cheetos ever since the 4th grade. (Surprised they've even been out that long.) And number three (3) kids influence purchasing decisions for the entire family. An unhappy kid leads to unhappy parents. A lot of parents give in and just buy for their children whatever it is that they want. Kids are such an easy target. They watch tv ALL DAY. The average 8-13 year old watches 3.5 hours of television per day, and roughly 40,000 commercials per year. Anyways, this is the clip that my professor showed to the class. He always makes it interesting hah.

Turn your volume down, this kid is annoying.
